The world record-selling bass cabinet is now up for sale in the US.
The Bass Pro Shops store in Phoenix, Arizona, on Monday listed the Bass Pro-8C Bass Cabinet for $7,000.
It is the world’s biggest bass cabinet and is estimated to have a capacity of up to 9,000 pounds.
It was built in 1997 and is the largest ever built.
“I have never seen something like this,” said owner Scott Odom.
“The cabinet was built to last, so the bass will be ready for when the time comes.
I had a good laugh at the price.”
Odom bought the cabinet in 1996 for $2,500 and later sold it for $4,000, but he plans to build another one for himself, and hopes to put it up for auction at auction in December.
“My family is always on the lookout for things like this, so when I saw the Bass cabinet was sold, I knew I had to buy it,” Odom said.
“We are looking for a home for it.”
The Bass Cabinet is estimated at a $6 million price tag, but it is unclear whether the buyer will take it to auction.
The sale of the cabinet was reported by the Arizona Republic newspaper, and Odom plans to donate the proceeds to the Red Cross.
The bass cabinet, which weighs around 3,500 pounds, was built by a company called The Bass Pro Shop.
The company was formed in 1987 and became part of the Rockford, Illinois-based Rockford Bass Company in 2005.
Rockford bass makers made their first products in the late 1960s.
The Bass cabinet is built by Rockford Basses, a company founded in the 1950s.
It features a single 3-way pickup with three 3-band EQs and an auto-fading tone control.
The cabinet has a two-stage electric bass, and is also available with an electric piano.
